Left side of barrel marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" and top marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. Co. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." Left side of receiver above trigger guard marked "PAT. SEPT. 19. 1871. JULY 2. 72 JAN. 19. 75." with rampant Colt mark to the right of text. Comes with letter of authenticity from Colt Archives documenting its history. A piece of Colt history with verified provenance.
