Colt Police Positive .22 WRF caliber revolver, a very rare variant of the G series Police Positive 22 target revolvers with very few of this caliber produced. Serial number dates to 1923 per Colt records. Double action with side-swing 6-shot cylinder. 6" barrel. Blued finish with adjustable front and rear sights. Left side of barrel marked "Police Positive - CAL .22 WRF" (see photos for exact configuration). Top of barrel marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A. PAT'D AUG. 5. 1884. JUNE 5. 1900 JULY 4. 1905." Hard rubber grips. A scarce find for the serious Colt collector. Shows honest wear consistent with age. Condition as shown in photos.
